Meredith Salenger
Salenger grew and was raised in Malibu. She loved performing for loved ones and relatives as an infant. Her mom took her to her first class in acting when she was eight years old. Her first performance was just a tiny part of the 'orphan with a singing and dancing dance in the film Annie which was directed by John Huston. Salenger is also part of the commercials of a couple of television networks. Salenger's debut starring role came on the Disney production The Journey of Natty Gann which starred John Cusack and Ray Wise which was the first US film to be awarded the coveted gold prize from the Moscow Film Festival. Salenger was also named "Best actor in drama" from the Youth in Film Awards, for portraying the tomboyish Natty. After starring in four more movies by the time she turned 18, including A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, she left Hollywood to go to Harvard for further studies.
