Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie, who was born on April 9, 1987 in Philadelphia is an American R&B and Soul performer. Fearless Jazmine Marie's debut album was recorded in Philadelphia. The album was a top contender on the Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The record was followed by four hits, including "Need U Bad" as well as "Bust Your Windows" and both were in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart; the former became Sullivan's first as well as the first single to top the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. Her second album, Love Me Back in 2010, followed. It was a hit by the critics. After a hiatus of nearly three year, Sullivan signed with RCA Records. In 2015 she debuted Reality Show, her first studio album. This album became her first one to debut at the top on the Top R&B Albums Charts. In 2021she dropped her critically acclaimed EP Heaux Tales which has the track "Pick Up Your Feelings". Sullivan was awarded two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award as well as three NAACP Image Awards. In 2022, Time placed her on their list of 100 Most Influential People.
